When marketing on forum sites, do not appear to be a
sales person, go to the forum with the intention of
providing solution. People will generally warm up to
you and start asking you for help, after sometime of
relationship, these set of people will trust you with
their money.
2. Contribute To Hot Topics: Do not start a thread all
because you want you name associated with a hot topic,
you could get visibilty by making comments on topic that
is hot. When i say comment, it should be something
constructive and not a one liner ie i agree,you are right
etc. Posts that gives me most visibility are not the one
i started but those that i made valuable contributions.
3. Do Not Spam: One thing that forum administrator hate
most is spamming, you will get banned easily. Do not go to
every section of the forum writting same thing. You will
be banned in no time and people will see you as a spammer.
4. Create An Image: Its of no use being everywhere, carve
a niche for yourself. Learn a trick or trade and become
an expert in that field. Its better to have 20 people that
believes in you that 100 people that stumbles on you.
